These policies apply to hostbas.com, its client area and its digital-product catalog at hostbas.com/code. “Hostbas”, “we” and “us” refer to Host Bas LLC, the supplier of the products and services you purchase.
1. Who is responsible
Host Bas LLC is responsible for the personal information it collects to operate Hostbas. For a privacy request, email support@hostbas.com or use the support system. Our Legal Information page identifies the supplier and contact details.
2. Information we process
We process information you provide for an account or order, such as your name, email address, billing details, selected products and licenses. We also process invoices, payment status and transaction references, support messages and attachments, purchase and download records, and information needed to verify ownership of earlier purchases.
Our systems may record technical data such as IP addresses, browser information, timestamps, session identifiers and security or error logs. Information submitted through chat, contact or newsletter forms is used for those purposes. Do not submit sensitive information that is not needed to handle your request.
3. Why we use it
We use this information to maintain accounts, process and reconcile orders, provide products and support, protect against abuse, investigate problems and meet accounting or legal obligations. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, this is performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, a proportionate legitimate interest such as security, or consent where required.
Marketing choices are separate from the information needed to provide a purchase. You can ask us to stop optional marketing. We do not need your payment-card password or full card details to answer a support request.
4. Payments and service providers
When Whop is selected, payment information is entered on Whop’s payment service. We send the order reference, description, amount and currency needed to request payment, and receive transaction and payment-status information needed to reconcile it. Hostbas does not receive the full payment-card details entered on that hosted checkout.
Hostbas and Whop act as independent controllers for their respective processing. Read Whop’s Privacy Policy for its payment, fraud-prevention and legal processing. Payment providers and banks may apply their own identity-verification requirements.
We also use infrastructure, email, security and support services to operate the site. The website includes Tawk.to live chat and Google Analytics. When you use an external download link, the file-hosting provider receives technical information needed to serve it and applies its own privacy policy. We may disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights and investigate abuse.
5. Cookies and international processing
Session and security cookies support login, shopping-cart and protection functions. Optional analytics and chat tools may use cookies or similar technologies. You can manage cookies using your browser and any controls presented by the site; blocking essential cookies may prevent login or checkout. Contact us with questions about optional tools or your privacy choices.
Providers may process information in countries different from yours. Where a legal transfer safeguard is required, applicable safeguards and provider arrangements govern that transfer. This policy does not claim that all information stays in one country.
6. Earlier catalog accounts
To bring an earlier catalog purchase into your Hostbas account, we may check the earlier account identifier, an ownership credential and the recorded entitlement. A matching email address alone does not prove ownership. Successful linking records the relevant account identifiers and access rights. Earlier passwords are not included in the purchase-link record.
7. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, including supplying access already purchased, resolving disputes and meeting applicable accounting or legal requirements. The appropriate period depends on the type of information and the obligation; deletion of an account does not necessarily require deletion of records we must retain.
We use access controls and other technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information and service. No internet service can promise absolute security. Contact support promptly if you believe an account or purchase has been accessed without permission.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an objection to certain processing, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis. We may need proportionate proof of identity before disclosing or changing account information. Some requests are subject to legal exceptions. You may also raise a concern with the relevant data-protection authority.
Open a support ticket or email support@hostbas.com. Describe the request and the account concerned. We will handle it according to the applicable requirements and retain only what is still needed for a lawful purpose.
